ProtonTalk op 22 augustus: Carbon ion radiotherapy

Graag nodigen wij u uit voor onze volgende ProtonTalk. Deze keer aandacht voor carbon ion radiotherapie met lezingen  door dr. S.C. Huijskens en prof. dr. T. Ohno.

16.10 uur  The effect of anatomical variations in children on the dose distribution when using carbon ion therapy – Dr. S.C. Huijskens, AMC
Dr. Huijskens visited the Gunma University Heavy Ion Medical Center (GHMC). The focus of her working visit was to gain knowledge and experience on using carbon ion therapy in children, specifically focusing on abdominal and thoracic tumors, and thereby investigating the effect of anatomical variations in children on the dose distribution when using carbon ion therapy (CIRT).

16.40 uur  Carbon ion radiotherapy for pancreatic cancer – Prof. dr. T Ohno, Gunma University Heavy Ion Medical Center
Professor Ohno is an expert in the field of particle therapy and moving targets.
